Code-signing adds a verified digital signature that proves the app comes from us and hasn't been altered. It significantly reduces operating-system warnings (Windows SmartScreen, macOS Gatekeeper) and improves trust.

Security
SKlauncher is designed to be safe to use. Every release is validated and your device and data protection is our priority. Rare antivirus false positives can occur due to heuristic or AI detection, but they are typically cleared within a few days after re-scans and our outreach to vendors. We actively work with AV companies to quickly resolve any misunderstandings and maintain your trust.
Since v4.0 we publish detailed release notes and security updates, and our vendor outreach helps us quickly resolve false positives.

Is SKlauncher safe to use?
Every release runs through VirusTotal scans against major antivirus engines, with results published on the security page. We work directly with AV vendors to clear the occasional false positive that heuristic detection raises.
Which Minecraft versions are supported?
SKlauncher launches every Minecraft Java release from the early Beta builds through to the latest snapshots, with the right Java runtime picked automatically per instance.
Does it handle modpacks and mods?
Yes. Install modpacks from CurseForge and Modrinth directly, plus individual mods, resource packs, and shaders, all from the same workflow.
Which mod loaders work?
Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt, covering modded Minecraft from legacy 1.7.10 setups through to today's releases.
